Royalty Popularity Poll
This is from a media outlet, showing the current popularity of the UK royals, and probably before "crotch-gate" and "butt-gate"
The result for should we keep the monarchy is, as you can see in the link
YES 30%
NO 70%
The tide is turning and not in favour of the monarchy. I am of the opinion that once queenie has gone life for the rf will never be the same.
This is a link to the Mirror, scroll down just a little and you will see the poll results.

The link also shows, and I have posted it in Anmer Hall thread, that we, Joe Public, have paid for all the renovations to that place - knew it didn't we. They must be laughing at us all the way to the bank.

They are definitely on the decline and if the so called House of Windsor fell, I can't see that many people would shed a tear for any of them. Apart from the 'establishment' of course!

Re: Royalty Popularity Poll
At least we could have an elected head of state, and if they do not perform then they do not get re-elected. This lot have been foisted on us, whether we want them or not. Very antiquated and about time they brought in the elected head of state system. Bring it on, fast.

Apparently 'thousands of Republicans out on the streets of Madrid tonight calling for the end of the Monarchy'! Just reported on Sky News - same will be happening here soon.

Bring it on, bring it on. Let's get rid of the monarchy, total waste of space and a drain on the taxpayer

Re: Royalty Popularity Poll
I think Cathy Crotchbridge, her family, the surrogacy and grumpy George will guarantee that. Not a hope of it surviving now. How could anyone respect a future Queen Consort who acts like a porno star!?

PB, please don't insult a porno star. They do work hard for their living. This thing doesn't.

Re: Royalty Popularity Poll
OOh, i don´t know about that, a free breakfast. Those Weetabix sit in my stomach like a brick for the rest of the day if I eat them. Sorry PaulineB, don´t mean to be rude, but Weetabix just not my thing. Hey, maybe they have improved, didn´t they bring out a new flavour or something not long ago. you will have to clue us up on that. Willing to try again if you think they have improved.

Sno - can't say I am that fond of them either but hey it's a job! Yes had an early shift change and my co worker gets all bent out of shape if I am late, she's the old one called ma. There are a team of three of us working round the clock.
There are some different flavours as you say and the Chinese market like theirs noodle flavoured, can't think of anything worse personally.

Re: Royalty Popularity Poll
Rom and Sno - you might be interested in the forthcoming Republican meeting in Edinburgh - a bit of the info below
but full details on their website. Apparently their membership has shot up since the advent of the Meddledooms and more so because of the surrogacy etc and crotch and bumgate!!!
Have you booked your Edinburgh tickets and travel?
Find out more at www.republic.org.uk/edinburgh
Tickets for Republic's Annual Conference in Edinburgh on July 12 are selling fast.
If you are hoping to attend the conference book your travel and accomodation early to save. Some ideas for accomodation are on the Republic website at www.republic.org.uk/edinburgh. Flights from most UK airports are less than an hour.
Yes or No, the Monarchy Must GO!
This year's conference will introduce Republic and our campaign to new audiences and also raise the issue of the monarchy's future just two months before

When the truth comes out about PG it'll be over for them.I think that's why Prince Charles is saving so much money off shores he knows something is coming.

There isn't any way that they can contain it now. Every newspaper in the world has a file on it and it is just a matter of who starts the ball rolling and when.
