Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
Tide seems to be turning, the truth is now coming out about the crowds in Australia and NZ. They say the truth will always out. Palace pr did their best, but the locals always tell the truth.
I had heard others say little excitement re the tour, little interest whilst there, few in the crowds, a big damp squib. Seems the exaggerated numbers of people turning up for Dunedin stadium were way out. About a quarter full, if that, and the tickets were free. No wonder waity was hidden away on return, another failure to add to the rest of them. France got a lot of criticism, looking bored, studying her nails, that silly fascinator thing she wore, the maniacal grin several times. Got that wrong as well.
I expect more info will start coming out now for the Down Under tour, once a few start the rest will follow. Meant to be a tour to help HM keep Australia and NZ opting out of the commonwealth - seems more like the lazy couple gave them good reason to go ahead and dump the UK with such a poor tour.
Interesting comment in the DM about how "successful" (not) the Australia/New Zealand tour really was from someone who was there.

@ Bertie 7798 Actually, the royal vacation tour wasn't nearly as "successful" as the media claimed. In reality there were small crowds, with Willy and Waity even unable to fill up the rugby stadium in Dunedin - on a Sunday with free tickets.

Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
Just going through DM France article, found this - notice the crowds there to see the lazy couple, have to fight your way through them - ha ha ha ha. Bit of a waste of time putting the barriers up, nobody wanted to see them. Brought to mind Oz tour, hence posting on here, probably the same "big" crowds as the pr people would have us believe were attending in Australia.

Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
This comment follows on from some posts made by @Romilly and @Iamroyalty on the Who is George thread.
Good posts ladies, and so very true. I also have many friends in both Australia and New Zealand, and the feedback from day one was the same - poor crowds, no hype ahead of the visit, in truth few people were interested. A poor show when the free tickets to the Dunedin stadium only attracted about a quarter of the people the stadium can hold - probably bussed them in as well, free transport, free ticket and no doubt a free lunch. Doubt they would have gone otherwise. My very good friend Paula, friends from school and until she emigrated, we are still in regular touch and she kept me posted, she said the crowds were very sparse, to the point of embarrassing. And the Kiwis were disgusted at Crotchgate, couldn´t believe within seconds of her arrival she exposed her crotch, full frontal. It went viral so fast. Paula says that photo has been enlarged and is on the walls of garages and workshops NZ-wide. Further disgusted with buttgate in Australia. The feeling is that waity does it on purpose and gets a thrill from it.
Australia, my friend Catie, who lives in Sydney´s Double Bay, said the turn out was abysmal, they also had to resort to bussing in people to swell the crowds they were that small. The paps just find shots where there a few people and try to make out it is the crowd. In fact, I am convinced that they show crowd shots from pop star crowds just to make it look as though there is a huge turn out.
So many people on the ground, eye witnesses, are saying the same, all leaking out now, we knew it would eventually.
Interestingly enough, they all say that nobody seemed overly impressed with the kid, and apparently many people were talking about how large he looked and how advanced for his age. Said he always looked so grumpy, and no idea how to act at the playdate (or interact with people) bit of a bully boy. All the other kids were his age and not one of them as big or knowing as him. All this from people who were actually there.
From on the ground feedback it seems the tour was a dysmal failure all round, starting with crotchgate in NZ and ending with buttgate in Australia. Must have been so disappointing for HM, I am sure she was advised daily of the situation on the tour.

Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
I love your comments ladies, and ITA with them. Another thing, about the Bill and Cathy show. The RF is in a really tough position, Bill was born in, he has to be the star of the two, however, those dismal crowds show that even if Cathy Lamebridge can't pull the crowds, he should have, he didn't. I think back to the Queens father, he was nervous around crowds, a stutter, yet he was beloved, the crowds were always huge. He had something genuine. Bill has not one really good trait that he can utilize. He does not have his mother's care and consideration for others, he doesn't even have his dad's snooty concern for the environment or architecture or classical music. He is known for NOTHING, I don't even think of him and his few charities as being inherently connected. They are an unfortunate part of maintaining his gravy train.
Even if Bill gets a divorce, so little is his own charisma, the crowds will not change. I blame Cathy a lot for this mess, but honestly. Bill is not a star, Bill does not want to be there, Bill is a loser, spoiled child who still uses his dead mother's charisma to get out of work. Ugh, let me stop ranting.

Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
The thing is, he has used the Princess Diana card so often, it has worn out and the print has come off. Used it too often now for it to have any impact. Agree OOTP, he has no charisma, we know little about him other than he is petulant, lazy, self entitled, and he has never wanted to be king. He has a bad choice in a wife, very bad indeed, his work ethic is non-existent. The only charity I ever think of him involved in, and only when he does a visit, is Centrepoint. Again, riding on Princess Diana´s coat tail. He wants the perks, the luxurious and privileged life style, all that goes with it, the whole kit and kaboodle, but he thinks it is enough that is he bill middleton. Why should he have to do anything for it all. Quite where he gets that idea from is the guess of anyone. I suggest he takes his dreadful, lazy, masculine wife, his fake kid, and walks off into the sunset. Let him use his inheritance from his mother to keep them. Never keen to put his hand in his pocket is he, he would rather be funded by the tax payer, the very people he is meant to serve and who pay his bills, and who, from his behaviour, that he feels are so far beneath him they are not even a mere speck of dirt on his shoe. Just pay your taxes and keep me peasants, expect nothing in return. Sadly, he was born too late for that attitude. We are in the 21st century and we expect value for our money. Not a snarling, selfish, lazy, I want to sue everyone for take a photo, apology of a man. Blaming the person who photographed waity´s backside. Why? Had she worn appropriate underwear and clothing, there would have been nothing to photograph. But oh no, not her fault, nothing is ever her fault. Perfection must be very boring, although she looks utterly bored without the perfection Actually, when you think about it, they are both incredibly boring people who seem to think of nobody other than themselves. About time they pushed off and gave Harry a chance.

As I mentioned on another thread, HM obviously does not hold Malta in high esteem, because if she did she would never send waity to represent the royals for a jubilee indpendency event. It would be chucky, air miles any, teddy eddy, Princess Anne, but definitely not waity.

It may appear that way on the surface, but here she is wearing her Knight of Malta robe.
Queen Elizabeth II in her Maltese robe. Elizabeth is the Sovereign Head of the Order

Then she should not be sending waity to represent her, what an insult to the Maltese people.

More proof that the Australia/NZ tour was not a raging success - as if we had not already worked that one out!

Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
The video below is not interesting except for one photo...
Stop the video at 0:21 .
What is KM doing? The swing dance from the 1940's?
Does she hear this Glenn Miller band music somewhere?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2aqHGaSxRI
Perhaps, she's summoning with her hands faeries from the ground? Look at her hands!!!
Then look at William's clenched fist and his face.
He looks like he wants to literally punch her.

I think that was when she tripped or turned her ankle when she was wearing her ridiculous wedges.

Indie it was. They had been wine testing, and it would appear waity drank the wine and it appears she got a bit tiddly. With only a handful of nuts or something odd for breakfast I imagine the alcohol content would have hit hard on a mostly empty stomach.

As malnourished as she is, she is at risk for osteoporosis. She is lucky she didn't break an ankle.

So what is up with that clenched hand of his?
Is not like he tried to grab her before she fell....

He was probably irritated that she turned her ankle. With all of that jaw clenching in public, god only knows what he does in private. I bet he is brutal towards his split tail wife behind closed doors.

Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
So, some of the costs involved in the Club Med holiday down under has been revealed.
Don´t you just love this bit
Kate, William and Prince George's whirlwind 10-day trip around the country cost a total of $474,137 excluding security – less than one fifth of the $2,688,819 it cost for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh to make a similar trip.
Supposed to make it sound like a reasonable trip? In their dreams. The Queen and PP did loads of engagements, more than 5 times as many as the lazy couple. Plus she is head of the British monarchy, whether we want her or not, unlike willnot and kannot who rarely work at all and are rarely seen these days.

Bet the comments are going to be scathing, only 10 at the moment and they are not particularly favourable.

Re: Royal puppets on Australia/NZ tour
That trip was dubbed Club Med tour, and it turned out exactly that way. A lot of money for the taxpayer to fund a Club Med holiday for that lazy couple. Plus of course we were treated to crotchgate and buttgate (eeewwwwww) - free entertainment for those who like that sort of thing. At least HM did official and intelligent duties, not turn up at fun social events all the time. As I recall they did not even stat at Government House in NZ, hopped off to some expensive exclusive resort to "rest", having dumped the kid on the nanny at the airport as soon as the cameras stopped rolling. No matter what the total cost, it was a complete waste of money. If the wanted a Club Med holiday Down Under then they should have paid for it themselves.
