What happened to the staff recommending members of their family to work for the royals? I should think nobody would touch the jobs with a barge pole. The pay is basic minimum, long hours, demanding, etc. All for a pittance of a pay check? They pride themselves on being modern, or their version of it, but they need to get a life, I wouldn´t get out of bed for what they pay, not worth it. Also, in this days and age there is no kudos in working for them at all. Basically, what they are looking for is slave labour at the price per hour they want to pay.

True - slave labour. Now the Middletons have wormed their way in their is nothing special about the Monarchy at all. There is no mystery and no one respects them any more. Can you imagine the whole world having been flashed the future Queen Consort's crotch so many times!? No one would have believed it a few years ago.

^Very true that mystery is long gone from Diana spilling the beans about the RF to a mistress becoming a'repectable' Duchess.Having worked for the RF as your refrences doesn't have that wow factor it ones had.Not to mention the low wages those cheapos pay.

Apparently below stairs' is agog with rumours and 'what the butler saw' stories and on such mean wages there are those willing to talk now more things are coming out.
