There certainly seems to be a knighthood for silence culture. If the above turns out to be true (and rumours are circulating that they are) he needs to be thrown in to gaol with Rolf Harris and the key lost for ever.

I agree Pauline and with such a sanctimonious front for his whole career if the allegations prove true he needs to be locked up for good.

Rumours and stories are circulating at the speed of light and they are saying that there are more and more victims coming out to tell their stories. They are finally being believed and given the support they should have received years ago.

It is even being said that an ex Prime Minister had boys from the Jersey Care home taken to his yacht then disposed of after use. That is so chilling and horrifying if true but survivors are now talking.

I do not understand how the lid was kept on these atrocities for so long. These monsters need to be exposed and punished severely. No one involved should be protected. Those on the highest level should receive the harshest punishment because they were in a position of trust.

Several of the victims of various perverts have said they never talked about it as, when they were children, they thought when they were children they wouldn't be believed and as adults they felt ashamed and dirty as if it was their fault - which is why it was kept quiet for so long

What sickens me, apart from the obvious, is that the RF should honour these people when there were rumours in high places that soemthing was very wrong. I for one would be grossly offended now if I was offered an honour.

The Jill Dando murder case should be reopened. The police disregarded vital evidence in this case and Barry George has never received compensation for the years that he was wrongly imprisoned. The whole thing stinks.

Yes, it really stinks, the only glimmer of hope is that there are many support groups determined to expose everything along with victims who are finally not too intimidated to talk. The whole world knows the Dando case was a set up and the reason Barry George was not compensated is that the authorities would be admitting wrong doing.

Carol Decker of T’Pau fame certainly doesn't like Cliff Richards.

Always thought there was something odd about him - one of those "goody two shoes" type, squeaky clean. It seems with the Savile business and a few other things more and more people are crawling out of the woodwork. I did wonder if people kept quiet before because they thought nobody would believe their story, but not they realise that these things are being taken seriously they are spilling the beans. Good for them I say. I am sure the police must have had good info and reasons to search otherwise they would not have been granted a warrant. Be interesting to see how it all develops. I think the reason there was exposure on the raid on Cliff Richard's home was deliberate to encourage others to come forward which I gather they have in droves. The BBC's involvement is probably to try and absolve themselves from criticism after failing to broadcast the documentary exposing JS before he died.

You may well be right Romilly - but the Police Chief has any questions to answer about his force's handling of sex abuse cases and other matters - decision slike that come from the top so he can't blame officers lower down the ranks. If this was anyone else they would have been arrested by now......name Chris Spivey mean anything to anyone?
