PaulineB wrote:So true Indie. Just this minute put down the Waitrose mag which I haven't taken ever since Orangina, aka Piss-Arse wrote her silly column. I heard a rumour that she had departed so picked one up today and although I may have missed it didn't see that flat grinning, irritating face in there spouting nonsense.
PB - you need to go to Specsavers - do they have one where you live? I thought the same as you but turned the page and there she was - page 52. Much shorter article and no publicity on front cover though so Waitrose have obviosuly taken the hint that she is not popular - guess if they have a contract with her they can't ditch her just yet. She's doing pasta this week in case anyone is interested !!!

I think they will phase her out gradually, rather than rub her nose in it. Do you remember the gawk who supposedly employed her, it was said at the time that many were sure he fancied the pants off orangina and thought he might curry some favour with her by getting her into the Waitrose mag. Ha, bet he has a load of egg on his face right now.

Silly twat - serves him right. Perhaps he should also go to Specsavers?

I'm at Queen's Club this week, so I hope she doesn't turn up with Char-Ma & the rest of the Cult. Enough to put one off one's strawberries!
If you do see the A-E, please could you do us all a favour and ask them who waity used as a surrogate etc
Gosh, so much I'd like to say to the Mansons! I'll be at QC on Thursday, Murray will be playing which will bring out the press, which in turn will likely lead to an infestation of Midds. I do hope I'm wrong though....

Welcome Juliet! Ah yes, of course Piss-Arse was there! Hope she doesn't turn up tomorrow, as I'm seated opposite the VIP pavilion & would rather watch the tennis than be distracted by her orange face.

Welcome Juliet Is she in the royal box, not sure. Jeepers, she gets less attractive every time. This photo is awful

Looks as though she has the "five o´clock shadow" on her upper lip. You would think she might have had a waxing for the outing, knowing the paps would be there. i see the comments section still a scathing as ever. And that fake grin always pasted on her flat face, gross.

Welcome juliet!
Don't know about her popularity now, but they weren't so fascinated with her last year!
This is the NY Times’ version of royal gossip, I think. I love all of the royal reporters bitching about Pippa. But doesn’t it feel like there’s something going largely unsaid here and in the NYT piece: maybe the reaction to Pippa’s “coattail-riding” and money-seeking behavior would be more acceptable if she actually delivered a good product that people actually wanted. If she had great recipes or if she had some really smart tips about how to throw a party or if she was a gifted writer, people would cut her slack. Instead, she just flits around, taking any high-profile or big-money gig she’s offered and she just expects people to cut her slack because of who her sister married. Oh, and if she’s smart she’ll seriously drop the legal challenge to PippaTips. That is the absolute dumbest move she’s made thus far.

Re: Is Pippa´s star fading?
I loved some of the comments on that link CrystalEve...by fascination I meant the number of photos we were subjected to at one time..not so much now I agree. And yes I agree she flitted about taking every opportunity with very little effort put in..imo...no serious attempt to have a serious career.....but then she is a Midd !!!..

Re: Is Pippa´s star fading?
Is this correct we ask ourselves, or more media hype and lies, as is quite often the case. Why would they want her to write articles on topics in her failed cookery book? And seriously, if I was American I would be totallty p*ssed off that some nobody from the UK, with no presenting or real writing experience, is offered a plum job. If correct and she takes it she will probably be dropped when she does not deliver the goods, but that is not the point is it.

Re: Is Pippa´s star fading?
Maybe there is something going on with her where she may have gotten a clue that none of the aristo's want her so maybe try her hand at something *cough* *cough* *coughing up hairballs* substantive. Although, nothing with Matt Lauer is substance. NBC is way down in the ratings, their hosts are boring and maybe they think the Americans who love the RF will tune in.
Journalism isn't what it use to be, You used to have to go to some Cholera ridden he** hole to earn your way to a job like that, now you just need the right connections. Jenna Bush, Chelsea Clinton. It isn't about talent anymore.

Re: Is Pippa´s star fading?
It sure isn´t about talent any more OOTP, I think think that is a dead cert - you hit the nail on the head there.
What I don´t understand is if NBC is way down in the ratings with boring hosts, then I don´t see how flat face is going to help them. From what I have read not that many Americans appear to like or have an interest in the dooms of the odious waity. Flat face will bring a whole new meaning to the description "boring presenter". Can´t see many flicking to that channel after first viewing of her slot. The only thing that could make her popular is talking about the willy boy, waity, fakie porgie, and that would soon be stopped by the royals. Also very unfair to the Americans to employ someone like her when they must obviously have some very talented people of their own, who have worked their way up, and could do an excellent job for them.

Rumour has it that NBC’s offer to Pippa could be for her to take a similar role as Chelsea Clinton’s on “Today,” appearing in special reports rather than dishing on her famous family. NBC are set to offer Pippa a $600,000 deal to be a royal correspondent. I really don't know if this is simply hearsay, but if flat, face Pippa took up the job offer, she wouldn’t be able to dish on the 'wonderful' British royal family.

There would be interest in her initially but it would end quickly.

Re: Is Pippa´s star fading?
Well, old flat face having lunch with a "friend" today, wearing the most horrendous short legged jumpsuit, which appears to be a Whistle number from 2010 - times must be hard. She is so masculine, it shocks me.
So, can anyone tell me, in the whole of London in the summer, Wimbledon and world cup going on, and the paps are out and about and oops, just happen to see flat face out for lunch with a "friend". Hey, a pink pig just flew past! Obviously has the paps on speed dial.

Jeepers, I reckon she would have looked better in old army fatigues! What a dreadful outfit, and those large upper arms, she should have been a man, the face, the body, all very masculine.

Just found this - and old flat face says she does not court publicity! On front cover of Hello mag no less, although it is a very downmarket publication.
